Donald Trump has criticized Georgia prosecutor Fani Willis after she admitted to having a relationship with another lawyer involved in the election-interference case.

Fulton County District Attorney Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade both said on Friday that they’d had a romantic relationship, which developed after he was hired to work on Trump’s case. Wade was hired to work on the case in November 2021. Since Trump and his co-defendants were indicted in August 2023, Wade has led the team of prosecutors. Trump has denied any wrongdoing all 13 charges related to racketeering and conspiring to change the outcome of the 2020 election, which he lost to President Joe Biden. The former president has repeatedly said that the case is part of a political witch hunt aimed at derailing his bid for the White House.
