In‌ his homily, Archbishop Jimenez spoke about embracing the path of synodality as he ⁣embarked on this ​new phase of his ministry. He emphasized the need for unity ​and⁤ collaboration within the church community to overcome challenges ​while ‍also acknowledging God’s presence and grace along this journey.

Celebration‍ with Distinguished⁤ Guests

The installation Mass was‍ attended by numerous notable figures within the ⁢Catholic ​hierarchy,⁢ including Portuguese Cardinal Américo Aguiar and over‌ a dozen bishops from various regions.⁣ In‌ support of Archbishop Jimenez’s appointment, ​Cardinal Aguiar‌ referred to him as “a blessing” to both Agaña and its people.

Appointment ‌by Pope Francis

Pope Francis appointed 52-year-old Ryan Jeminez to ​lead Chalan Kanoa on Saipan since ⁣2016 when ‍Pope Francis named⁤ him archbishop.‍ This makes him fourth bishop where more than ​168000 people have strong​ faiths endure health problems for resignation.
