Maka Botchorishvili, the Chair of the European Integration Committee of the Georgian Parliament, and Branko Zebić, the Ambassador of Croatia to the country, on Wednesday discussed the existing “friendly relations” and “active” parliamentary cooperation between Georgia and Croatia, the Parliament press office said.

At the meeting, the sides reviewed the important issues of the relations between Georgia and the European Union, highlighting the process of the country’s integration into the bloc, implemented reforms, and achieved progress.

The conversation also touched on Georgia’s geopolitical importance and prospects of cooperation with the EU, including the ongoing political developments in the country, the current situation in the region and security challenges.
