Sporting Kansas City Expands Its NIL Initiative with New Talent

Recently, they have enhanced their Sporting U NIL Program by welcoming new local NCAA Division I student-athletes into the fold. The latest phase of this marketing strategy has culminated in NIL contracts with seven promising athletes.

A Closer Look at Our New Recruits
Kendall Diggs has made waves since his high school days at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Overland Park. He was an SEC Second Team selection during his sophomore year after achieving an impressive record with 12 home runs while leading his team with 63 RBIs during that season. His performance continued strongly into his junior year where he recorded seven home runs alongside 34 RBIs while maintaining excellent defensive stats – committing only two errors throughout 53 games as a right fielder.
Sophomore volleyball star Skyler Pierce comes highly regarded after her stint at Olathe Northwest High School where she emerged as one of America’s premier recruits. In her junior year (2022), she earned accolades including MetroKC Volleyball Player of the Year; followed by being named First Team All-State in her senior season (2023). Additionally notable is her inclusion on the U.S. Under-21 National Team that achieved sixth place at Mexico’s FIVB U21 World Championships held earlier this year.
Diverse Opportunities for College Students
Sporting KC’s commitment to engagement does not stop here – its initiatives cater specifically to college students through various avenues like The Sporting U Pass program which empowers students using .edu email addresses eligible for discounted single-match tickets priced at $15 or reduced season tickets available for just $240 located in Children’s Mercy Park’s Supporters’ Stand section.
A significant update coming this 2025 includes complimentary membership for one-year access to KC Cauldron along with an invite to partake in career advancement panels hosted by key executives from Sporting KC among other perks!
