Are travel manager salaries rising? Is the gender pay gap narrowing? Do travel managers feel well rewarded and recognised? All these questions and many more will be answered in BTN Europe’s Travel Manager Salary & Job Satisfaction survey 2024, the results of which will be published in December.
BTN Europe’s second annual survey, endorsed by Europe’s leading travel manager associations, will paint a picture of current
sentiment among travel buyers and
enable you to benchmark against your peers as you enter salary
negotiations, so we need you to have your say and complete the confidential salary and job satisfaction survey now by scrolling to the bottom of the page.
Last year’s inaugural survey, published in December 2023, determined that the average travel manager salary across Europe was €73,870, with the average salary also identified of travel managers in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, Sweden and Italy.
The 2023 survey also revealed a growing range of travel manager responsibilities, shifting objectives, a considerable discrepancy in the salaries of female and male travel managers, and a distinct divide between those who felt their salary was reasonable relative to their responsibilities (44 per cent) or felt well paid (13 per cent) and those who didn’t feel they were properly rewarded (43 per cent).
In order to deliver another comprehensive report, we need the participation of travel managers from across Europe to complete the survey. So, travel managers, don’t delay, please complete the survey below today. All survey responses are confidential and you are not required to enter your name or contact details. All survey results will be reported in aggregate and strictly no individual job titles or salaries will be published.
