The 4-0 win over Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu was a prime reminder of the potential of Barcelona’s latest attacking trio of Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski.
While Lewandowski is running away with the Pichichi trophy with 14 goals in 11 league matches, his attacking partners Raphinha and Yamal aren’t far behind either.
Best trident in Europe
But what makes them such a deadly combination is their overall productivity.
With the season still young, the trio has amassed 33 goals in just 14 official matches, dwarfing the output of Europe’s most renowned forward lines.
In La Liga, Barcelona lead with 37 team goals, a staggering 16 more than Real Madrid, with Lewandowski contributing 17, Raphinha 10, and Yamal 6.
This phenomenal tally not only puts them at the top of the Spanish league but also ahead of the continent’s best, as Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane-led trio trails with 23 goals.

Interestingly, Real Madrid’s new front trio of Vinicius, Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo have tallied only 14 goals this season, despite being regarded as the next big trio in European football.
