Londoner in Lincolnshire

East Lancs Esteem-bodied Dennis Dart PY07 KRG was originally DE6, the last of a batch of six purchased new in 2007 by CT Plus, East London, for use on route W13 between Leytonstone and Woodford Wells. They were displaced in March by new Enviro200 MMCs and DE6 has been sold on to Hunt’s Coaches of Alford, Lincolnshire, who have a small bus operation.

Hunt’s route 7 between Alford, Chapel St Leonard’s and Skegness is the company’s main bus route – the others are school buses or once-a-week market day services – and the new acquisition is seen on Saturday 19th August passing the Seathorne Arms in Winthorpe, Skegness, complete with makeshift destination blind and a small poster in the windscreen giving the only indication of its ownership.
