This review highlighted non-adherence to “laws and regulations encapsulated in Rule 18, clause 11,” which mandates prior clearance from finance committees regarding all monetary transactions. The committee recommended forwarding these findings and recommendations concerning council members’ accountability before disciplinary authorities; however, these were reportedly overlooked by President Kassim.
