Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton introduced central London to a standstill this morning. The seven-time world champion was attending the opening of the brand new Fanatics retailer on Regent Avenue, and a whole lot of followers camped out all morning to attempt to catch a glimpse of the F1 star.

Hamilton has appeared on the opening of a brand new Fanatics flagship retailer on London’s Regent Avenue on Friday 25 April. The go to from the seven-time world champion was publicised briefly forward of the occasion, with Fanatics sharing that Hamilton could be within the retailer to chop the ribbon throughout its grand opening.

This was sufficient to whip F1 followers right into a frenzy, they usually shortly descended on central London with the intention to catch a glimpse of Hamilton. Followers reportedly camped out in a single day, with some even claiming to have began queuing up on the new retailer from 4am forward of his look.
