Engaging directly with local conservation projects allowed me to observe firsthand the delicate balance sustained within our nearby wetlands and shoreline habitats. Each planting session and cleanup effort brought new insights about native species’ roles and how invasive plants can disrupt entire ecosystems. This hands-on experience highlighted the interconnectedness of flora and fauna, reinforcing lessons that textbooks alone cannot convey.
