Democratic Sens. Adam Schiff (Calif.) and Tim Kaine (Va.) wish to power a vote as quickly as this week on a decision to stop the U.S. navy from conducting strikes towards vessels close to Venezuela that the Trump administration says are smuggling medication into the U.S., Schiff’s spokesperson and one other supply instructed The Hill on Monday.
The Struggle Powers Act decision follows the most recent U.S. navy strike on a ship off the coast of Venezuela that the Pentagon mentioned was carrying narcotics. Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth mentioned the strike killed 4 “narco-terrorists.”
