The goalkeeper of the Portuguese national team, **Alesh Tverdokhlebov**, who has Russian roots, and his team triumphed in the FIFA U-17 World Cup, defeating Austria 1-0 in the final match.
During the tournament, the goalie participated in just one game. He took the field in the group stage against New Caledonia, where the team won 6-1, and remained on the bench in the subsequent matches.
Earlier this year, Tverdokhlebov claimed victory with the Portugal U17 team in the UEFA European Championship, despite not playing a single match in the tournament.
