According to the National Hockey League’s press service, McDavid achieved a milestone by scoring points in 20 consecutive games for the first time in his career. During this span, the forward accumulated 46 points (19 goals and 27 assists).
He has become the fourth active player in the league to reach this milestone. Previously, Patrick Kane accomplished this feat with a 26-game streak in the 2015/2016 season and a 20-game streak in the 2018/2019 season, while Sidney Crosby had a 25-game streak in the 2010/2011 season, and Mitchell Marner attained a 23-game streak in the 2022/2023 season.
