Las Vegas – The Las Vegas Aviators revealed three distinctive new logos for players’ hats, drawing inspiration from the city’s rich aviation legacy ahead of the 2026 season.[1][2]

Fresh Designs Hit the Diamond

A fighter pilot helmet now graces the front of an orange alternate cap, complete with baseball seams etched across the top and a reflection of the iconic Vegas Strip in the visor. This striking design pays homage to the daring pilots who define the region’s skies.[1]

The second logo features an H-1 Racer plane – a 1935 aircraft from the Howard Hughes era – slicing through the letter “A” on a blue alternate cap with a crisp white front panel. Fans familiar with the team’s “Bug Man” pilot logo will spot echoes of familiarity in these updates.

Completing the trio, the team’s mascot, Spruce the Goose, appears swinging a bat on the batting practice cap. These additions maintain the Aviators’ signature orange and navy palette while injecting fresh energy into game-day gear.[1]

Shifting Gears from Hughes to Broader Horizons

The Aviators previously leaned heavily into Howard Hughes themes, a nod to the franchise’s roots as the Las Vegas 51s. However, a 2024 ownership change to Seaport Entertainment Group prompted a pivot toward the city’s expansive aviation story.[1]
