Las Vegas – The UNLV Lady Rebels delivered a commanding performance against Boise State on Wednesday night at The Pavilion, winning 76-47 to lock in the No. 2 seed for the Mountain West Conference tournament.[1]

Shelbee Brown dominated the paint and boards, posting a season-high 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting while grabbing a game-high 16 rebounds for her ninth double-double of the year.[1] The forward’s effort included five offensive boards and eight free throws made out of ten attempts. Her tenacity set the tone early, as UNLV controlled the interior throughout the contest.

Coach Lindy La Rocque praised Brown’s impact, calling her tremendous and a difference-maker the staff anticipated.[3] Brown herself reflected on her gritty style, noting, “I was a very rough kid. Not girly at all. I liked to be outside playing basketball with the boys.”[3]

Balanced Attack Lifts UNLV

Meadow Roland added 15 points on 6-of-14 shooting, including one three-pointer, while collecting four rebounds and three steals. Sydni Summers matched her season high with 14 points, sinking four of nine from beyond the arc to provide crucial spacing. Aaliyah Alexander contributed eight points and a team-high three assists alongside three rebounds.
