Henderson, Nevada — Touro University Nevada appointed Jacqueline Beato as its inaugural chief executive officer in February, introducing a dedicated leadership position to steer the institution’s future growth.

The appointment represents a pivotal shift for the university. Officials described the CEO role as entirely new for the Nevada campus.[1][2]
Beato now collaborates closely with Dr. Patricia Salkin, the provost and chief academic officer. Together, they oversee multiple departments while focusing on long-term strategy. This structure positions the university to expand its influence in health care education.
Dr. Alan Kadish, president of Touro University, praised the choice. “We are honored to welcome Jacqueline to our leadership team, whose leadership, experience, and vision will play a pivotal role in guiding Touro Nevada into its next era of growth,” he stated.[1]
Beato’s Proven Track Record
Beato recently served as interim chief financial and operating officer at Touro University Nevada. That experience prepared her for the top role.
Prior to joining the university, she held the position of chief operating officer at Live Nation Concerts. Her background spans finance and operations in high-stakes environments, skills that university leaders expect to drive innovation.[1]
