Las Vegas — One year after a routine morning ride ended in tragedy, the intersection of Russell Road and Lindell Road bears a poignant banner dedicated to Jordon Dodder. The 37-year-old father of four lost his life when a car failed to stop at a stop sign, a moment that shattered his family and highlighted persistent road safety concerns. Now, his widow leads efforts to remind drivers of the human cost behind every hasty decision.[1][2]

The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. on April 9, 2025. Jordon Dodder rode his 2013 Harley-Davidson westward on Russell Road toward work. A car approaching from Lindell Road disregarded the stop sign and struck him, according to Las Vegas Metro Police reports. The driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment, yet no charges followed.[2]

Friends like Jennifer Breeden captured the raw grief: “People need to wake up, pay attention to the roads, to the signs.” Such incidents underscored a grim pattern on local roadways.[2]
