Cody Shangreaux is engaged on turning his life round.
“I got involved with the criminal justice system, and they put me in the drug court program,” Shangreaux mentioned. “It’s an 18-month program which the first two months I had to spend in a facility, so I did 30 days over there in inpatient, and I did 30 days at Westcare.”
He is longing for a brighter future and a brand new profession.
“People with felonies, people in substance abuse programs, we have to prove ourselves. They don’t give us a lot of extra chances,” Shangreaux mentioned. ” I’ve had several interviews with big companies that say they’re second-chance companies, but as soon as I mention my record or see my tattoos, then they shut me down instantly.”
