Las Vegas – High school athletes across the Las Vegas Valley delivered dominant displays on Thursday in baseball, softball, and boys volleyball. Lopsided scores defined much of the action, with pitchers throwing no-hitters and hitters crushing extra-base hits. Standout performances from seniors and underclassmen alike propelled their teams to victory, underscoring the intensity of the prep season.[1]

Run-rule victories dominated Thursday’s baseball slate, as 13 of 14 games ended early due to mercy rules. Canyon Springs routed Western 11-2, while Centennial edged Las Vegas 6-1 behind a late offensive surge. Other blowouts included Clark’s 20-5 thrashing of Valley and Palo Verde’s 19-1 dismantling of The Meadows.[1]
