A third man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection to last month’s shooting during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade that left one woman dead and injured more than 20 others, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN).

The third murder suspect was also charged with unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of criminal action. He’s being held on $1 million bond.

The 20-year-old, along with two others, allegedly approached someone in another group and an argument broke out, per a probable cause statement. When another person pulled out a gun, the man allegedly pulled out his own gun and surveillance video showed him appearing to shoot multiple times.

According to Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney Jean Peters Baker and the probable cause statement, the man’s phone pinged his device in the area of the shooting when it occurred and his social media posts showed him wearing “the same distinctive backpack” that was seen in the surveillance video.

Two other men, Lyndell Mays and Dominic Miller, were charged with second-degree murder last month. They were also charged with two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

Additionally, a 16-year-old boy was arraigned Tuesday on a charge of unlawful use of a weapon in shooting at a person. Another 16-year-old is being held on a lesser gun charge.

Three other men are also facing gun-related and resisting arrest charges.
