Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., mentioned Sunday that Democrats have failed to attach with working-class voters as a result of the occasion too typically backed “established order institution candidates” unwilling to problem what he described as a rigged financial system.
Talking on “Meet the Press,” Khanna weighed in on a newly launched Democratic Nationwide Committee post-mortem report inspecting the occasion’s 2024 election loss and broader struggles with voters.
“We do want to acknowledge that the established order has failed,” Khanna mentioned. “This can be a system that has created huge inequality. That the financial system is lopsided and unfair, and it’s not working for a lot of working-class and middle-class Individuals. And too typically we’ve run established order institution candidates who’ve been unwilling to name out an financial and political system that has failed.”
